First, their license was pulled by the DOT on April 2, 5 days later they picked up my furniture. As one customer puts it, “After they had our stuff they said we owed more money than our $8200 contract! 100 percent more!” This means they overcharged that particular move by at least $8000 more than they were supposed to.
Some customers have complained they had to pay an excess of $9500 more than they were originally quoted. Some customers are claiming that they never received their items and have had to await their belongings to be moved to their new homes 1-4 weeks late. Even though, this company claims to have a refund policy, customers have been unable to get their money back although pictures, required documents and more were sent to the company. This entire company is a rip-off. Consumers have filed complaints with multiple review sites as well as the Department of Transportation. This company does have the customer carry moving insurance in case the items are stolen or otherwise damaged. The insurance they recommended (movinginsurance.com) usually denies all but one or two minor claims – they are a scam too! Buyer beware.
“Don’t use this company! I’ve moved quite a few times and this experience was by far the worst...”
